This is the Lord; we have waited for Him; let us be glad and rejoice in His salvation. BIG PICTURE QUESTION: How did God plan to fix what sin broke? Before He created the world, God planned to send the Messiah. Wednesday Nights 7-8:30pm 11/11 1st-5th grade kids! Join us on Wednesday nights in The Lodge as we dig deeper into God’s Word. We are currently learning about the lives of missionaries and martyrs of the faith. Each lesson will invite kids to see how God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things for His glory. Coming Up in December Parents! Here’s a great opportunity to have a date night or get some Christmas shopping done. In this session we will finish our chronological journey through the Bible looking at Acts and The Letters. Come join us as we wrap up this great series! Lifepointe University - November 4 Was Genesis written too late to get the details right? Some say it was written a thousand years after Abraham lived. If so, the writers should have gotten the details wrong. Did they? Join us for In the Footsteps of Abraham, our next Lifepointe University session, led by Darrell Testerman. We’ll watch Dr. Stephen Meyer examine ancient clay tablets, old laws, the price of slaves, and even people’s names, and see what they reveal about Abraham’s world. 📅 Wednesday, November 4 at 7pm Operation Christmas Child Boxes Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes are a way to impact children and families around the world! When you lovingly place gifts in the shoebox and pray for the recipient, it is just the beginning! Those boxes are delivered to children along with the greatest gift-the message of the gospel! More information about this ministry, as well as shoeboxes to fill, will be available at the table in the back of the sanctuary beginning on Nov. 1st. All boxes must be returned to Lifepointe by Nov. 15th. Thanksgiving Potluck - November 22nd We are continuing a new tradition we started last year and we hope you’ll come join us. Sunday morning November 22nd we will combine our morning service with a Thanksgiving Potluck lunch. We’ll gather at our normal 10:00am service time for a shortened service centered on thankfulness.
